Comparison of different C2C recyclable fibres, in associatin to clevable epoxies
Posted on July 24, 2020Gaiker has finished the production of panels for comparing mechanical performances of C2C recyclable fibres.
Glass, basalt and Filava (a Basalt-Derived Mineral produced by ENEA) were associtated with cleavable epoxies to evaluate mechanical characteristics. Mechanical tests will be up to ENEA. Considering automotive expectations, several tests are needed (compression, tensile, in plane-shear testing). The results will allow to identify the more promising fibre for continuing the activity.
